I’m Calder Stratford, a senior in the Business Scholars program at the University of Utah. Growing up in New York, I was influenced by the city’s vibrant energy and its connection to art and fashion—an inspiration I like to bring into my studies and work today.
Through my internships at CASE and my entrepreneurial journey launching my own organic fragrance brand, Malabar, I’ve developed skills in brand strategy, digital marketing, and project management. My career goal is to create disruptive brands that resonate with Gen Z consumers like me by blending strategy, creativity, cultural trends, premium design, and attention to detail.
My upbringing also shaped my values. Growing up with a younger brother with autism gave me a deep passion for serving underrepresented communities. In high school, I founded the Autism Awareness Club, and later, at CASE, I help develop the brand strategy for The Fitt, an adaptive diaper brand for special-needs adults.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me chasing design trends, concocting questionable fragrance blends (some hits, some… not so much), and pretending to be a travel influencer. I’m on the hunt for a Summer 2025 internship with a vibrant NYC team that’s obsessed with building disruptive, social-first beauty brands.
